Deck the halls with boughs of holly, fa la la la la la la. This week, Blue Digital have well and truly kicked off the Christmas period in style with office tree decorating and our Christmas social tonight. We have our light up jumpers and ice cream at the ready for the traditional Sleeping Beauty Theatre production (and may be a few beverages to warm our cockles after). We have also had a crazy week with, a new queen of the jungle and a new developer joining Blue Digital.

Warm welcome to Andy!

This week we welcome our newest member of the development team, as a senior developer Andy will be supporting PHP, Worpress, Magento and Laravel. We look forward to lots of cups of teas, his techy know how and Christmas carol singing in the office!

Santa Selfie

Most of us will have “tracked santa” online at some point in our lives, but Santa has definitely gone up in the world this year. santatracker.google.com is a virtual Santa village advent calendar jampacked with games, Santa Selfies, language translations … rolling learning and having fun into one online platform. I highly recommend the present bounce after playing it for a good twenty minutes..

You’ve got a friend in me..

So we are all animal lovers here at Blue Digital, From the new puppy, Harold the Golden Doodle, and yes he still has the “New puppy smell” to a teddy bear look alike Cockerpoo called Poppy – I don’t even think she is real, she is that adorable! We have spotted a story that we LOVE this week. 3 year old, buddy has found a new best friend in Labradoodle Regan and they are releasing a charitable book to support a foster parent organisation. The pair do everything together, eat sleep and even taking baths! The book showcases their relationship from the first time they met.

Pringle and Charlie the penguin pay a visit

Christmas is full with love and joy, but every so often we need a sprinkling of festivity and snow, penguins are just what the doctor ordered (literally)! They waddled away from their natural habitat this week to visit a residential home, they have been trained up to work as therapy animals. Pringle and Charlie enjoyed for cuddles and posing for a few photos and comforting the residents.
