With over 20 years’ experience, Network Medical are leading manufacturers of medical supplies including both ENT and Ophthalmic equipment. They sell their products in over 72 countries and have strong relationships with surgeons, operating theatres and suppliers all over the world.
Network Medical approached Blue Digital to design and develop a modern and fresh website that represented the innovativeness, cleanliness and sophistication of the Network Medical brand. They wanted the website to offer a better marketing platform and to provide a greater range of information for Network Medical’s distribution partners and surgeons, whilst also aiming to generate more sales leads.
We created a design that targeted Network Medical’s key visitors, and reflected their brand values and expertise within the business. The previous website was difficult to navigate, therefore we generated a simplified design that created both a cleaner aesthetic and a cleaner structure. In order to achieve this, the homepage design was split into two clear sections: Ophthalmic Products and ENT Products, making it easy for visitors to find exactly what they are looking for. Within these sections, we designed the website in a way that allowed products to be found by either the brand name or the surgical procedure. This further ensures that visitors can quickly and easily find what they’re looking for.
To create a cleaner structure, the menu was redesigned in a way that makes it easier for the user to navigate, improving the user experience. This was combined with clear call to actions, allowing visitors to easily contact Network Medical or enquire about a product, with an enquiry form down the right-hand side of product and category pages. This ultimately was designed to improve the opportunity for lead generation.
Network Medical’s new responsive website provides better flexibility for content, allowing them to easily add new products and information for their visitors. It has enabled them to become a resource hub that has videos, specification cards and brochures against their products in order to aid their decision making process before purchasing. We also created a bespoke login area for distributors that is personalised to them, giving that bit extra to their consumers. This gives Network Medical the opportunity to set user privileges as well as the ability to upload brand guidelines, brochures and images to this section.
We modernised and simplified the Network Medical website in terms of both the appearance and structure, allowing their target audience to easily find what they are looking for. The simplified design allows the focus of the website to be on Network Medical’s high quality products and innovativeness, which is what they were looking to achieve.
